Play The Guitar Like The Beatles - Vol. One

I have always loved the guitar and from the first time I picked one up, I wanted to Play Guitar Like The Beatles.  When you first start out playing, and even later, getting a song to sound like the recording can be quite a challenge.  You have to figure out what the chords are and even then it helps to "watch" someone else play the song so you can copy the technique.

All The Beatles tunes are somewhat unique and quirky as is the style the boys used in their music.  I am no professional musician "but" I wanted to learn The Beatles songs so they would sound as close to what I heard on the albums as possible.

I bought an Epiphone Dot which is very similar to the Epiphone Casino that John Lennon used on the roof top of Apple Records for their now famous last live performance.  Since I got my first "Beatles" guitar I can't stop learning Beatles songs. 

As there was no simple guitar site with the information all in one place and with videos and chords and lyrics, this "Play Guitar Like The Beatles" site was born.  I intend to add to it song by song until the whole Beatles catalog is covered, maybe even venture out to some of their solo post Beatles music.

I have no idea how long this will take or how involved it will become so "bookmark" this page and check back often for updates.
